Capacity Expansion in the Czech Republic: New Production Site in Prague

Covering around 10,000 square metres, the new site complements the existing capacity of our Czech subsidiary, GRITEC s.r.o. The additional space will enable us to further develop our production and logistics processes and respond flexibly to growing demand in the markets we serve.

Measured growth
The expansion in the Czech Republic is part of the GRITEC Group’s long-term development. We are deliberately adding capacity where there is corresponding demand and sustainable market potential.

With the new site in Prague, the GRITEC Group now operates seven production sites – five in Germany and two in the Czech Republic.
The new production hall is located at the historic AVIA CITY industrial site in Prague-Letňany. Its existing infrastructure and excellent transport links provide ideal conditions for the site’s further development.

Further expansion planned
GRITEC is also preparing another production site in Veselí nad Moravou in South Moravia, which is scheduled to begin operations in 2027. Several dozen new jobs are expected to be created there. In this way, the GRITEC Group is gradually expanding its capacity in line with market demand and creating the conditions for long-term growth across its European markets.
