Foundation laid for a new production site in Veselí nad Moravou

The construction work on a new production site in Veselí nad Moravou in South Moravia officially began on 21st of September 2026. The new site is scheduled to become operational in summer 2027.

A modern production hall covering approximately 11,500 square metres is being built on a site of more than three hectares. Around 70 new jobs are expected to be created at the site.

Expanding capacity where demand is growing

With the new plant, GRITEC is responding to growing demand for technical buildings and solutions for energy and utility infrastructure. The location in South Moravia provides favourable conditions for serving the Czech market as well as neighbouring markets such as Slovakia and Hungary.

The investment is therefore part of the long-term development of the GRITEC GROUP and its European production structure.

With commissioning planned for summer 2027, Veselí nad Moravou will become the eighth production site of the GRITEC Group. The new site will complement GRITEC’s existing production capacity in the Czech Republic and create additional opportunities for the Group’s further development in the region’s growing markets.
